About Greater Falls Church Veterans Council
The Council was formed in 2003 by the representatives in the Falls Church community who were from the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Catholic War Veterans Posts in the area and who wanted a group incorporated to serve the interest of all veterans and could act on matters on their behalf and in their interest before the Falls Church City government, the State of Virginia, and the US Federal Government, particularly the US Veterans Administration.
The Greater Falls Church Veterans Council is a volunteers organization and is operated right here in Falls Church, VA. Since the Council opened its doors in 2003, it has achieved many activities for the veterans and the families in obtaining deserved benefits due to them because of their services to the country and the military. These benefits, which continue to elude veterans, are identified and made know with a little assistance from the council and posts. All you have to do is ask for our help.
