At Greater Falls Church Veterans Council, we are proud to have received the following recognition for our contributions to the Falls Church community for our outreach to veterans and their families. We help the City celebrated the Memorial Day and Veterans Day events at the Memorial Gardens in front of the Falls Church Community Center with a salute to our fallen veterans.

Veterans outreach to members was presented in June to announce new changes to the Veterans Administration
Benefits available to members and their families. Just ask event and about the handouts of new benefits.

On Memorial Day the GFCVC Float was an entry into the Falls Church Memorial Day Parade, which reflected the combined efforts of all the council veteran posts. Father Mjaka served as honorary float master sending his best candy treats to all.

On Columbus Weekend in October the GFCVC host its annual picnic in the Cherry Hill Park for veterans and their families and honors its volunteers for their services to the veterans council. Each year the attendees grow and show their appreciation to the Bentley's Restaurant for hosting the event with delicious picnic food and treats.

"Best Veterans Holiday Dinner in the
area"
On the 2nd Weekend in December the GFCVC host its annual Holiday Dinner for veterans and their families and honors its Posts for their services to the veterans council. Each year the attendees receive gifts and show their appreciation to the Bentley's Restaurant for hosting the event with delicious luncheon food and Santa treats.
